Rachel, a bookworm? Well . . . just think of her as a friend helping a friend.
Jennifer Aniston's character on NBC's "Friends" is catching up on her reading to call attention to a pal's new book. Rachel has already been seen ignoring her ex-boyfriend Ross (David Schwimmer) by burying her nose in a copy of "Anthem: An American Road Story," published by Avon Books. Aniston's friend Kristin Hahn wrote the book with Shainee Gabel.Rachel will be seen perusing the book in future episodes.
"It takes Rachel a lot longer than a week to read a book, so I'll be able to stretch this one out for the next couple months," Aniston said.
"Anthem" details Hahn and Gabel's road trip, including encounters with the likes of Robert Redford and writers Hunter S. Thompson and John Irving.
