Brian Murray yearned to get out of the city and move to rural Utah. His wish came true in Gunnison.
The Kaysville man is the new chief financial officer at the community-owned Gunnison Valley Hospital. "I wanted to come down and experience a smaller hospital," Murray said.He left the 150-bed Salt Lake Regional Medical Center, where he was controller in charge of the accounting department.
Gunnison's hospital has only 21 beds.
