Smith's Food & Drug Centers has opened a 60,000-square-foot combination food and drug store at 210 E. 700 South that brings to 38 the number of stores the company operates in Utah. It employs 85 full-time and part-time workers.

The new store has a dry cleaner, a Zions First National Bank full-service branch, pharmacy, video rental, one-hour photo lab, service booth, floral department, fresh seafood, deli, bakery and more than 50,000 food and drug items.
