Dan Phelps, a Kaysville businessman and property developer, is making a considerable investment to purchase and upgrade the Alaskan Inn Theme Room Bed and Breakfast, located 21/2 miles up Ogden Canyon. The property was formerly The Hermitage.

Phelps purchased the property in June and has upgraded the landscaping and some suites with Alaskan decorations. He has been so encouraged by the customer response to the Alaskan theme suites that he purchased the land adjacent to the inn and is attempting to build additional theme cabins.
