We take comfort in knowing that our loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, Helen V. Rindfleisch Cromar, is finally at peace after a courageous struggle with Myelodysplasia. She passed away February 9, 1997, at age 79, in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Helen was born April 21, 1917, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Carl Immanuel and Alice Victoria Larsen Rindfleisch. She married Giles F. Cromar on June 29, 1938 in Salt Lake City, Utah, later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS temple on June 29, 1954. They had two daughters Claudia and Pamela.Helen Spent countless hours fostering her love for children through her work with the Primary and the Festival of the Trees. She held many ward callings though her favorite was working with the Primary children. She had a great love for family, children, and music.

Survivors include her husband; daughter, Claudia (Kent); six grandchildren, Giles Demke (Tammy); J. Kenny Demke (Leann); Kristi Demke; Tiffanie Demke; Kammy Jones (Philip); and Marcha Wood (Loren); three great-granddaughters, Randi Demke; Cortney Demke; and Amanda Jones; sister, Donna Olsen (Clair); brothers, Roy Rindfleisch (Barbara); Clarence Rindfleisch (Margaret); Keith Yorgasen and four step-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family wishes to express their thanks to nurse Bonnie Pearce for her special care given to Helen in her time of need.

Helen was guided into the Kingdom of Heaven, by her loving and faithful daughter, Pamela Yorganson, who preceded her in death, and into the loving arms of our Father in Heaven.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 13, 1997, 12 noon, at the Garden Heights Ward, 2220 East Fisher Lane (2935 South). Friends may call Wednesday evening, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 South 2300 East, and at the church on Thursday for one hour prior to the services. Entombment: Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park and Mausoleum.
