Seven new stakes have been created, including the second stake in Austria. Other stakes have been created in Argentina, Ecuador, New Zealand and Peru, and in Idaho and Utah.
The Buenos Aires Argentina Escobar Stake, which includes the Derqui, Escobar, Garin, Pilar and Tortuguitas wards, and the Benavidez, Del Viso, Matheu, San Antonio De Areco and Savio branches, has been created by Elder Angel Abrea of the Seventy.The Lima Peru La Molina Stake, which includes the La Molina, La Molina Vieja, Musa, Santa Felicia and Santa Patricia wards, and the Cieneguilla, Las Vinas and Manchay branches, has been created by Elder Jay E. Jensen of the Seventy.
The Meridian Idaho West Stake, which includes the Cherry Lane, Linder, McMillan, Meridian 1st and 12th, Parkside and Sunnybrook wards, has been created by Elder L. Aldin Porter of the Presidency of the Seventy.
The Otavalo Ecuador Imbabura Stake, which includes the Carabuela, Cotama, Iluman, Imbaya, Peguche, Pucara, and San Roque wards, has been created by Elder Jay E. Jensen of the Seventy.
The Porirua New Zealand Stake, which includes the Ascot Park, Porirua East, Titahi Bay, and Whitby wards, and the Paraparaumu branch, has been created by Elder Lowell D.Wood of the Seventy.
The Price Utah College Stake, which includes the College 4th, and College of Eastern Utah 1st, 2nd, and 3rd wards has been created by Elder Dennis B. Neuenschwander of the Seventy.
The Salzburg Austria Stake, which includes the Klagenfurt, Linz, Linz-Urfahr, Salzburg, Salzburg-Flachgau, and Wels wards, and the Haag Am Hausruck, Innsbruck, St. Johann-Pongau, Steyr, and Villach branches, has been created by Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin of the Quorum of the Twelve.
