Bob Probert and Alex Zhamnov scored for the Blackhawks, who are 6-1 since Ulf Dahlen, Michal Sykora and Chris Terreri joined them in the Jan. 25 trade that sent star goalie Ed Belfour to San Jose.The largest home crowd in Blackhawks history - 22,819 - saw Chicago win for only the 10th time in 29 games at the United Center. The Blackhawks hadn't won two straight at home since late October.
Wayne Gretzky, the NHL's career goal-scorer with 853, remains 0-for-1997. He hasn't scored in 19 games, the longest drought of his illustrious career. Gretzky has been stuck at 16 goals this season since scoring twice Dec. 30.
