Richard Fred Tracy, beloved husband and father died February 15, 1997, after a courageous battle with kidney cancer.

Born February 18, 1945 in Hawthorne, Nevada, to Herbert R.and Ila (Pat) M. Tracy.Richard married Pamela Groutage February 14, 1993 in Bountiful, Utah. Richard proudly served his country in the United States Navy from 1962 to 1966. Graduated from Utah Technical College with a degree in Electronic Technology. Richard was employed by Lockheed Martin, formerly Sperry Univac, for over 28 years. He started his career as an electronic technician and within his first year transferred into the Field Engineering department. Over the next 20 years he traveled to several different countries. In 1987 he transferred to the home office in Salt Lake City, where he has worked as a Manager in Field Operations.

His last position held was Staff Advisor. Richard often commented, what an outstanding opportunity it was to work with the people associated with his profession. He exemplified integrity in every aspect of his life.

Richard was a wonderful husband and an excellent father. Our love goes with you.

He is survived by his loving wife Pamela; two sons, Jason R. Tracy, San Antonio, Texas; Matthew R. Tracy, Salt Lake City; his father, Herbert R. Tracy, Murray, Utah; two brothers and two sisters, Herbert J. Tracy, Downey, CA.; Michael Tracy, St. George; Darlene Linford, Bountiful; Nancy Wixom, Salt Lake City. Preceded in death by his mother, Ila (Pat) Tracy and Mollyan Tracy.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, February 19, 1997 at 11 a.m. at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 N. Main, where friends may call Tuesday evening from 5-7 p.m. and Wednesday morning 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to the services. Interment in the Bountiful City Cemetery.
