Joseph Benassi, 82, passed away Feb. 17, 1997, at home, with his beloved sister Norma at his side.
Joseph was born Sept. 3, 1914 in Frontier, Wyo. to Dante and Teresa Jean Nicola Benassi. Member of the Catholic Church. He enjoyed the outdoor, fishing and hunting.Retired farmer, he dedicated his life to farming, where he labored many hard years. He will be remembered by many for his wonderful produce.
Survived by two sisters, Norma Ramoselli and Albena Aiello, and many loving nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, Dante Benassi and Teresa B. Ramoselli; brother, Louis Benassi.
Joseph will be missed by his family and friends and especially by his sister, Norma. Many thanks to his very caring physician, Dr. Barbara Rizzardi, whom he trusted through the years.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Sat., 11 a.m. at St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church, 1375 E. Spring Lane, with a Rosary Fri., 8 p.m. Friends may call at the church Friday, 7-8 p.m. and Sat., 10-11 a.m. Funeral directors: Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary. Interment, Murray City Cemetery.
