The Utah Department of Transportation is offering several open houses for businesses to discuss the reconstruction of I-15 in Salt Lake County.
Business leaders are encouraged to attend and talk with UDOT representatives about their specific needs for coping with the 41/2-year project. Details of the $1.36 billion project, including diagrams and displays, will be available for review. Participants can sign up to receive more information as the work progresses.The widening and rebuilding of a 17-mile stretch of the freeway from Sandy to Salt Lake City will begin in mid-April.
The informational meetings will be on Wednesdays through the end of March at the following locations:
- Feb. 26, 4-5 p.m. at Salt Lake City Library, 209 E. 500 South.
- March 5, 4-5 p.m. at the Chapman Library, 577 S. 900 West.
- March 12, 12:30-2 p.m. at the Salt Lake City Library, 209 E. 500 South.
- March 19, 4-5 p.m. at Sandy City Hall, 10000 Centennial Parkway.
- March 26, 7:30-8:30 a.m. at Fashion Place Mall, 6191 S. State.
