Mary Martinez, 64, passed away March 15, 1997 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born August 1, 1932 in Cebolla, New Mexico to Joe and Ramoncita Lohman. She loved fishing, going to Wendover, and the door to her house was always open to anyone to visit or stay. She was a member of St. Marguerite's Catholic Church.She is survived by her husband, Willie G. Martinez of 46 years of marriage, a daughter Charline M. Gallo, sons Willie (Emily) Martinez and Walter A. Martinez, all of Tooele; a special niece, Patricia (William) Griego, who was like a daughter to her; eight grandchildren, a sister Adelida (Joe) Martinez, a brother Matias (Mary) Lohman, Stockton, Utah and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Milton Lohman, two sons, Joe and Michael, a grandson Paul, and her son-in-law Terry.
Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday March 19, 1997 at 10 a.m. at St. Marguerite's in Tooele. Friends may call at the church from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday and one hour prior on Wednesday. Interment in the Tooele City Cemetery.
