Maurine Olson Bullock, 99, our grandma Maurine, died March 20, 1997.
She was born Dec. 9, 1897 in Springville, Utah to Edwin Olson and Dora Lowry Olson. She married Benjamin Hart Bullock, March 13, 1958 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Ida and Joseph A. Norton, Salt Lake City; step grandchildren, Neil and Sharen Bullock, Provo; Hart and Janice Bullock, Centerville; David and Gail Bullock, Sandy; Beverly Jensen, Las Vegas, Nev.; Laurie Bullock, Provo; Jack and Colleen Hansen, San Jose, Calif.; Paul and Jane Hansen, San Jose, Calif.; 22 great-grandchildren; 29 great-great-grandchildren; five nieces and nephews and their families.
She lived in Springville; Berkley, Calif.; Salt Lake City and Provo. She was an active member of the LDS Church all of her life, and held many ward and stake positions. Maurine was employed at Auerbach's and Z.C.M.I. for many years. She moved to Provo after her marriage, and began selling Avon. At the age of 87, she finally decided it was time to retire. She was a wonderful woman with a remarkable memory, who was cheerful, alert, independent and involved with her family, friends, and church until shortly before her death. She will be greatly missed.
Funeral services will be held Mon., Mar. 24, 1997 at 11 a.m. at the Provo 4th Ward LDS Chapel, 101 West 800 No., Provo. Friends may call one hour prior to services. Interment, Provo City Cemetery.
