Janet Schmitt Dunn, age 33, of Tetonia, Idaho, died March 21, 1997 at Bannock Regional Medical Center of injuries sustained in a car accident. Her infant daughter, Sabrina Dianne, was delivered by emergency cesarean section and lived only a few moments.
She was born Janet Lee Schmitt, February 8, 1964, in Hampton, Virginia. She graduated from California State College at Long Beach with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Computer Methods. She was employed as a trainer for Oracle Corporation. She married Ken Dunn on July 4, 1992, and moved with him to Tetonia in 1994 to begin an Angus cattle ranch.Janet will be remembered for her contagious smile and affectionate manner, which brought happiness simply through her presence.
Sabrina Dianne Dunn was to be Janet and Ken's first child, and will be sorely missed.
Survivors include her husband, H. Kenneth Dunn, her parents, Roger and Dianne Schmitt, Huntington Beach, California; her father-in-law, Harold K. Dunn, M.D., Salt Lake City; and Tetonia; her mother-in-law, Catherine F. Dunn, Salt Lake City; her grandmother, Helen C. Orlie, Pinetop, Arizona; Candy Lynn Schmitt, Huntington Beach, California; Jeffrey Don Schmitt and Brenda Gay Bill, Costa Mesa, California; Paul and Michelle Dunn, Longmont, Colorado, Parker T. Guinn, Ellen and Kaye Dunn, Salt Lake City.
Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to the Teton Valley Hospital Jane Dunn Memorial Fund.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 25, at 1 p.m. at the LDS Stake Center in Driggs, Idaho were friends may call from noon to 1 p.m.. Interment will be at the Cache-Clawson Cemetery, Tetonia, Idaho. Wade Funeral Home in Driggs in charge of arrangements.
