The Water Gardens Cinema 6 will be built at about 100 N. 1000 West and is scheduled to open this summer or fall. The million-dollar theater will anchor the 15-acre Water Gardens project, which eventually will include restaurants set between streams, waterfalls and ponds. The theater will be built to allow for two more screens in the future.Developer Jerry Smith, who first announced the project last year, said the Water Gardens will be unlike anything in the state. The natural flowing water and ponds along the waterways are to create a campus atmosphere.
