Eva Van Wagoner Hill, 88, died April 12, 1997, in Heber City, Utah.

Born July 30, 1908, in Midway, Utah, to Joseph M. and Edith Bronson Van Wagoner. Married Norman Winebarger, later divorced. Married Lynn Hill. He died.Eva was an active member of the LDS Church, which she loved very much. She was fond of poetry and won several national honors for poetry she had composed. She had a host of friends and loved all children.

Survived by stepson, Brent and wife Audrey Hill of Midway; five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; brother, Elroy and wife Owena VanWagoner of Heber City. Preceded in death by a sister, Estelle Turner, and three brothers, Burton, Fay and Ferrin Van Wagoner.

Funeral services Tuesday, 1 p.m. in the Heber 6th Ward Chapel. Friends may call at Olpin Mortuary, Monday from 6-8 p.m. and at the church Tuesday, one hour prior to services. Burial, Midway Cemetery.
