I hope the I-15 construction advertising budget of $400,000 is not entirely spent because the word is already out: I-15 is under construction.

Since most us will notice the construction without the tax money used to inform us, perhaps the advertising money could be better spent to improve foot and bicycle paths in the city and county. The improved paths would be self-advertising as those who are parked in the I-15 construction zone look for healthier ways to get around.Surely the money is better spent on alternative transportation since the media are providing reliable construction information at no cost to taxpayers.
