Elmer Freeman Pearson, 78, died April 29, 1997 at his home in Junction, Utah.

He was born November 7, 1918, to Johnny and Florence Wooley Pearson. He married Mary Angell. They later divorced. He served in the Army during World War II. He was employed by Piute County and the Forest Service. He was a government trapper most of his life. He loved to fish and the outdoors.Survived by sons, Cordell (Kathy) Pearson, of Circleville; Greg (Taunya) Pearson, of Junction; daughter, Sharon Kay (John) Jensen, of Manti; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.

Graveside services and Interment will be Thursday, May 1, 1997 at 11 a.m. in the Junction Cemetery with Military Rites by the V.F.W. Piute Post #7561. Friends may call at the Circleville 1st LDS Ward Chapel, Thursday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Funeral Directors, Neal S. Magleby & Sons Mortuary, Richfield, Utah.
