Don't even bother trying to convince us that you've never checked out the babes and buffed male bods on "Baywatch." Like, we all know it's the most-watched TV show in the world - and not because of any reputation for serious drama.

Anyway, with all that bare skin constantly exposed to the sun, some of us have wondered about the actors' beauty regimen.Figuring it was all body makeup, we quizzed the show's makeup artist, Joanna Connell of Sherman Oaks, for insider details - and she spilled big time.

According to Connell, the actors are out in the sun 14 hours a day, so they really do have to worry about frying their skin - and they have to use sunscreens and moisturizers that are compatible with makeup. So that rules out wrinkle removers like Retin A because it's sun-sensitive, and all those alpha hydroxy creams because they cause the skin to peel and look blotchy under makeup.

The makeup artist swears by Ethocyn Essence as a skin treatment before putting on makeup. She says it helps the skin's elasticity and makes it look smooth on screen. She also says the stars use fake tanning creams, favoring Au Courant sunless tanning lotion with body stain, which gives instant color, as well as Chanel's new tanning foam, which colors the skin a really dark bronze in about an hour.

Once they've got their skin covered, Connell uses Bobbi Brown's lipstick in "Beige" and tops it off with "Kiss Me" lip gloss from Philosophy cosmetics. She uses Hard Candy nail polish, and is particularly fond of a blue shade called "Sky."
