O.J. Simpson claims he is broke, but a lawyer trying to collect a $33.5 million judgment against him said Friday that Simpson has received at least $380,000 since January.

"Mr. Simpson isn't flat broke," said plaintiff lawyer Gary Caris, trying to get part of the judgment for the deaths of Ronald Goldman and and Nicole Brown Simpson. "I wish I was so broke."Simpson's bank accounts have been credited with $380,000, including $170,000 from the sale of a Honey Baked Ham franchise, $100,000 in loans and $72,000 in car sales, Caris said, citing Simpson's testimony Friday at a debtor examination and a review of bank records he was ordered to produce.

The exam, a series of private meetings, is being held to identify Simpson's assets that could pay off the judgment. It was to continue June 27.

Simpson claimed ignorance on a number of key financial points, including twice-monthly payments drawn from his $4 million pension plan, said Caris, who represents Fred Goldman, Goldman's father.

Simpson's personal attorney and business manager Leroy "Skip" Taft, whom Simpson says basically runs his financial life, has been subpoenaed to testify next month.

The judge ordered Simpson to bring his will, credit card receipts from the past 31/2 years for purchases over $1,000, any written contracts for written endorsements, such as autographs, all of his pension records; and all trust agreements currently operating.
