Earl J. Hemmert, Sr., 69, passed away
peacefully at home in his favorite chair on May 30, 1997.
Born Aug. 19, 1927 in Salt Lake City to Charles and Hazel Hemmert.He married Darlene Williams Mar. 17, 1950. They raised six children, four daughters and two sons, Earlene (Keith) Majors, Guy (Cindy) Hemmert, Julie Ferrari, Cindy (Nick) Ruoti, Jodi (J.R.) Anzer, and Scott (Michelle) Hemmert.
He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 7 step-grandchildren, who brightened his life; two sisters, Donna Day and Evelyn Snarr, and many nieces and nephews. He will be missed by them all. Preceded in death by Mom and Dad, sisters, Gladys, Mildred, Virla and brother, Charles. God bless you, keep you and grant you His peace.
Earl was a well known businessman. He owned Aire-Flo Heating and Electric for 25 years, but worked as a furnace installer for many years prior to starting his own business.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 3, 1997 at 2 p.m. in the Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary Chapel, 10600 South 1700 East, Sandy, where friends may call Monday 7-9 p.m and Tuesday one hour prior to the service. Interment Larkin Sunset Gardens.
