Steven L. Wahlstrom, 71, passed away June 13, 1997, in Salt Lake City, Utah.
He was born August 22, 1925 in Ogden, UT to Lawrence Albert and Iretta Taylor Wahlstrom. He married Patricia Hale and January 21, 1944, in Chandler, AZ. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Los Angeles LDS temple. He and his wife were temple workers in the Jordan River temple. Steven served in the U.S. Air Corp in World War II. To know him was to love him.He is survived by his wife, Patricia; children, Susan (Ralph) Jacobs, Cathy (Michael) Horspool, Wendy (Richard) Barham, and Julie Couture; mother, Iretta; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and four sisters. He was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, June 17, 1997, at 11 a.m. at the Peruvian Park LDS Ward Chapel, 1500 East 8600 South. Friends may call Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Mountain View Memorial Estates, 3115 East 7800 South and one hour prior to services at the church.
Interment will be at Mountain View.
