Edward Percy Bryant, beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away June 21, 1997.

Born August 19, 1919, the son of J.E. Zachariah and Estella Wood Bryant, in Collbran, Colorado. He married Ruth Kempton December 20, 1941, in Payson, Utah. He served honorably in the U.S. Army in World War II.He was a respected general building contractor in Salt Lake City for over 35 years. He was known for his honesty and integrity in all of his business and personal dealings. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and said he found God in the mountains.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth; and two sons, David (Virginia) Bryant and Don (Shelly) Bryant; grandchildren, Melissa (Brent) Baker, Kurt (Angi) Bryant, Lacie (Frank) Banton, Shelliese Bryant, and Cody Bryant; and six great-grandchildren.

He was welcomed home by his parents and two sisters, Leona Bryant and Martha Summerton, who preceded him in death.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, June 25, 1997, at 11 a.m. at the Salt Lake City Cemetery, 4th Avenue `N' Street. Friends and family may call at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, on Tuesday, 6-8 p.m.
