June 23, 1997, Audrey L. Michelsen, 76, died of heart complications at LDS Hospital, Salt Lake City.
Born in Amarillo, Texas to Thomas E. Tinkle and Lottie M. Fyfe Feb. 19, 1921. Married E.W. Kraus, deceased. Married Maurice R. Michelsen, Nov. 13, 1971.Audrey had received her 50 year membership pin as a member of the Order of The Eastern Star. She had served as Worthy Matron in Amarillo, Texas and was Worthy Matron with her husband, Maurice as her Worthy Patron of Order of The Eastern Star, Radiant Chapter No. 12, SLC. Audrey was retired from Utah Power and Light.
Survived by husband, Maurice and his loving children, Charles (Dorothy), Santa Rosa, California; Lucille (Verle) Harvey, Charlene (Don) Mair, Maurine, Ralph (Tammi), David (Sherry), of Salt Lake City; Susan (Scott) Lambert, Moscow, Idaho; sister, Betty (Jim) Leavitt, Salt Lake City; brother, Thomas M. Tinkle (Barbara), Issaquah, Washington and many nieces and nephews, all of who she loved dearly. Preceded in death by mother, father, sister, Frances and stepson, Fred.
Graveside services will be held at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 1342 East 500 South at 12 noon on Friday, June 27. Funeral Directors: Evans & Early.
