Eugene Ruben Christensen, 75, passed away June 26, 1997 of an extended illness.
Born October 9, 1921 in Pleasant Grove, Utah to George Ruben and Clara May Kemp Christensen. Married Noma Robinson, later divorced. Married Norma Esther Frederickson March 20, 1958 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Attended University of Utah. World War II Navy Veteran. Had worked as manager for Standard Oil Co. Vice President of Retail Petroleum Association. Enjoyed dancing, deer hunting and camping with his sons and nephews.Survivors: his wife Norma; sons George Christensen and David (Cathy) Christensen; daughters Noma Jo (Bill) Wormersley and Cindy Christensen; stepdaughter DeeAnn (Richard) Swinyard; stepmother Leah Christensen; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and a sister Sandra Hendrix. Preceded in death by his brother, Harvey Lynn Christensen.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Monday, June 30, 1997 in the Wasatch Lawn Mortuary Chapel, 3401 S. Highland Drive, where friends may call Sunday 6-8 p.m. and Monday 8:45-9:45 a.m. Interment, Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
