Janine Turner says she felt her life was like a hamster wheel until she took a hiatus the past few years to live on her ranch.
"I think you can work, work, work, but if you don't take time to nourish your soul. I mean, gosh, I never had a love life," Turner said, despite dating the likes of Alec Baldwin and Sylvester Stallone. As an example of her work schedule, she said in Movie-line magazine's July edition that she wrapped up shooting a season of TV's "Northern Exposure" one day and flew to Italy the next to film the 1993 film "Cliffhanger."
"I personally have a very hard time in L.A. - I feel suffocated," she said. "In Texas, with my horses and family and a boyfriend, I think I can be a much better person."
Turner has been easing back into the movies. She plays June Cleaver in "Leave It to Beaver." She also has a new beau, Jerry Jones Jr., son of the Dallas Cowboys owner.
