Our loving son, brother, and beloved father and grandfather, Lloyd Earl "Darb" Wolfe, has gone to rest with our Heavenly Father.

He was called from us in the early morning hours on July 17, 1997 after an accident at the Point of the Mountain involving Darb's diesel and a cement truck. He was born February 5, 1956 to Owen Lloyd and Jewel Madge Drain Wolfe in Salt Lake City, Utah. He married K.C. Martin, their marriage was later annulled. Darb married Cindy Lou Peterson in Las Vegas, Nevada. They had two wonderful children together, Darby and Derrick Wolfe. They later divorced, but the love was still there. Darb was known by many and loved by all. He touched the lives of all who ever knew him.

Darb had a great love for many things, his family, his pets, '57 Fords, dune buggies, diesels, The Holy Bible, and country music. He was always the first one to say, `Lets go up to aunt Kay's for a 'Jam Session.' But, his greatest love of all was his two sons, Lil Darby and Dittone "Derrick" and his grandson Chad.

Darb grew up in Magna where he attended Cyprus High School 'class of '74'. It was here that he joined the ROTC program which led him to join the Air Force where he was crew chief of a C-130 and an airplane mechanic. He was honorably discharged.

Darb also loved auto body repair. He achieved his professional experience at Layne's Custom Auto Body and Repair Shop. Later he and his younger brother Raymond worked together doing auto body repair and paint. Darb took great pride in everything he did and always gave much more than was ever expected, and expected nothing in return. In 1988, he turned his interest towards truck driving with his father. They made quite a team-O.L. Wolfe & Sons-leased to Ralph Smith Trucking Company of Bountiful, Utah. Darb become very well known and greatly respected by many local and OTR drivers. In this profession, he made many new friends and associates.

Darb's love for music comes from his family background where he and his mother spent many nights together reading the Bible and singing Gospel songs. The one song they sang most was The Green, Green Grass of Home. This song always seemed to put a smile on his face.

He is survived by his parents, Jewel Madge Drain Wolfe and Owen Lloyd "Bub" Wolfe, his sons, Darby William Herman Wolfe and Derrick Ronald Wolfe and their mother, Cindy Lou Peterson; grandson, Chad Ray Lee Wolfe; two brothers, Owen LeeMar "Lee" Wolfe and Raymond Leon (Cindy) Wolfe; four sisters, Jackie (Dale) Baumgaertel, Robin (Dean) Crane, Debra (Lael) Loutensock, and Betty Jo (Ted Butcher) Price; two grandparents, Ruby A. Drain, George E. Wolfe, and Veneta Wolfe; and many special aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Preceded in death by his grandfather, Sherman E. Drain, grandfather, LeMar Sorensen, grandmother Viona Sorensen, three uncles, Harold Drain, Edmond Drain, and David Drain.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday July 23, 1997 11 a.m. at the Pleasant Green Cemetery, 9200 West 3500 South. Friends may call both Tuesday, 6-8 p.m. and Wednesday, 10-10:45 a.m. at Peel Funeral Home, 8525 West 2700 South, Magna.

The greatest gift we ever had came from God, we call him Dad. The loveliest of all is the Unicorn
