James LeRoy Turner, passed away Tuesday, July 22, 1997 in Salt Lake.
He was born April 8, 1915 in Murray, Ut. to LeRoy and Mabel Olsen Turner. He owned and managed his grocery and meat business until his retirement in 1980. He was a member of the LDS church. Served in the U.S. Army Transportation Corp during World War II.He was married to Ellen Davis in 1940. She survives him. He is also survived by special nephews and nieces. Preceded in death by parents, two sisters and a brother.
He will be missed by his beloved wife and all who knew him, and his special companions, Buffy and Cami.
Graveside services will held Sat., July 26, 10:30 a.m. at the Elysian Burial Gardens, 1075 East 4580 So. Friends may call Sat. from 9:30-10 a.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 So. State, Murray.
