A bull tosses rodeo clown Michael Matt Thursday during the Days of `47 Rodeo. Matt, 24, Billings, Mont., was in serious condition at LDS Hospital Friday, a hospital spokesman said. The injuries apparently were not life-threatening. The bull was released into the arena "to please the crowd," a security guard said. More on rodeo, D1; results on D2.
