The U.S. Air Force said Friday crew error was one of the main reasons a C-130 Hercules plane crashed on landing in Honduras in April, killing three people.

The Accident Investigation Board found no evidence of aircraft or flight systems malfunctions, the Air Force said in a statement.The board found that the crew failed to "accurately assess and understand" landing requirements at Toncontin International Airport in Tegucigalpa, Honduras.
