Charles Frank Poulsen, age 76, died July 27, 1997, in St. George, Utah.
Born September 18, 1920, in Midvale, Utah to Albert and Ione Owen Poulsen. He married Helen Dene Fullmer September 11, 1940, in Salt Lake City. Later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. Skip was a lifetime scouter. Recipient of the Silver Beaver Award and an Eagle Scout. Served 30 years on the Highland Dairy Credit Union Board of Directors. He and his wife served as host and hostess at Jacobs Lake, AZ. He traveled extensively with his wife, Helen, for over 15 years in their motor home.Survived by daughter, Mrs. Sidney (Lorene) Powell; son, Paul (Janet) Poulsen; daughter, Mrs. Dick (Susan) Parker; 15 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; brothers, Melvin, Earnest, and Edward; and sisters, Hulda and Ellen. Preceded in death by his wife, Helen; three brothers, one sister, and his beloved mother.
Funeral services will be held Friday, August 1, 1997, 12 noon, at the Nibley Park Ward, 2450 So. 600 East. Friends may call Thursday, July 31 from 6 to 8 p.m. and Larkin Mortuary, 260 East So. Temple, and one hour prior to services at the ward. Interment, Larkin Sunset Gardens, 10600 So. 1700 East.
