G. Boyd Corbett, 63, of Orem returned to his Heavenly Father and his loving wife Vera on August 8, 1997.

He was born April 5, 1934 in Las Vegas, Nevada to George L. and Carlea Bylund Corbett. He married Vera Ann Unger on June 6, 1953 in the Manti Temple. She preceded him in death in 1994.He grew up in Orem and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1952. He later attended Brigham Young University and graduated in Marketing and was then commissioned as an Officer in the Air Force. He served three years in the Air Force in Germany. He excelled as a salesman in many areas during his life. He will be missed dearly by all who knew him and looked up to him for the principles he stood for: Freedom as dictated by God, the principles of the Gospel, his love for his Savior and the precepts taught in Book of Mormon.

He is survived by three sons and one daughter: Douglas B. (LouAnn) of American Fork; Marc R. (Patti), Norco, California; Kenneth A. (Jayne), Sandy; Carla Ann (Jim) Wandelt, Glendale, Arizona; 19 grandchildren. Additional survivors include his brother Bob (Ronda), Orem.

Funeral services will be held Monday, August 11, 1997 at 11 a.m in the American Fork Hillcrest Fourth Ward Chapel, 700 North 350 West, American Fork. Friends may call Sunday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Olpin Family Mortuary, 500 South 300 East, Pleasant Grove and at the church on Monday one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Santaquin City Cemetery.
