Edith Staples, age 77, passed away Friday, August 15, 1997 in Bountiful, Utah.
She was born April 21, 1920 in Newtown, Ireland, the daughter of Johnston Mahaffey and Martha McCausland. She married Derwood C. Staple, June 21, 1940 in Cleveland, Ohio.She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Benson of Woods Cross; grandson, Jeff A. McNatt; granddaugther, Jillian K. Benson. She was preceded in death by her husband, two brothers and one sister.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, August 19, 1997 at 11 a.m. at the Mtn. View Memorial Estates Cemetery, 3115 East 7800 South, Salt Lake City. Friends call Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful.
