Nathan D Maxon, age 23, died Monday, Sept. 8, 1997 in Park City, Utah, in an industrial accident.

He was born May 22, 1974 in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Willard Ray Maxon and Cindy Facer Maxon DeWitt. On Nov. 13, 1993 he married Shelly Staples in Coalville, Utah. He was a member of the LDS Church. He graduated from North Summit High School, where he enjoyed playing football. He loved to drive his dump truck and enjoyed going hunting with his grandpa. He was a very loving and caring husband and father.Surviving are his wife, Shelly Maxon; one son, Tristan D Maxon; parents, Cindy (Ken) DeWitt and Ray (Susan) Maxon; grandparents, Don and Elaine Facer, Bill and Gwen Maxon; father and mother-in-law, Clint and Holly Staples; brothers and sisters-in-law, Chad and Sheri Staples, Shari and John Angell, Bart and Leslee Staples, Mikki Staples; nieces and nephews, Nathan, Cody and Hunter Angell and Drew, Cole and Katelyn Staples; aunt and uncle, Tom and Christy Moore; cousins, Angie and Jason Moore and Shelley (Kory Richins) and children, Nicholas and Krystal.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, Sept. 11, 1997 at 1 p.m. in the Coalville Stake Chapel with Bishop Wade Judd officiating. Interment, Coalville City Cemetery. Funeral directors, Walker Mortuary, Coalville, Utah.
