The adage of "two sides to every story" evidently means nothing to the Deseret News. The only segment of truth in Don Rosebrock's article on the front page on Aug. 19 is that Donald York wants to get out of prison.
It is very disconcerting to pick up a paper and read an article filled with lies about your son's wrongful death. Having the whole episode dredged up again brings back the pain and anguish that was difficult to deal with the first time around. In the future I would advise your reporters to be more thorough in investigating a story and not just go for the sensational elements. People expect more from a church-owned newspaper.
