Mary Margaret (Bills) Campbell, aged 67, passed away Monday, September 15, 1997 in LDS Hospital.

Mary Margaret was born May 17, 1930, in Port Huron, Michigan, the daughter of Harold Allen and Norma Lorena (Burt) Bills. She graduated in the Class of '48 from Port Huron High School where she was a member of the GAA, the Honor Society, the Hi-Y, and where she also lettered in basketball. She married Donald Jack Campbell, July 15, 1949 in the Washington Avenue Methodist Church in Port Huron. She was employed as an executive secretary for Acheson-Colloids of Port Huron and later in the Ordinance Division for Minneapolis Honeywell. After moving to Utah in 1977, she worked for Barry-Brooke Realty, Builders Realty, All Star Lanes, Sunstate Properties and Don Campbell Realty.An avid bowler for many years, she attended numerous WIBC National Tournaments. She was very active in the City and State Junior Bowling Programs. She loved to golf and was very proud of her Ace on #3 at Glenmoor. She would have been equally as proud of her brother achieving his Ace the morning she passed away. After her stroke in 1992, Mary Marr was very determined to live life to the fullest. She was able to continue her love of bowling, as well as golfing with less success than she was accustomed, but her interest never diminished. She loved to travel and most recently spent the last five weeks visiting her family and friends.

Mary Marr is survived by her husband, Donald Jack Campbell, Sandy; her children: Mark Alan (Leila) Campbell, Bloomington, MN; Douglas John (Patty) Campbell, Minneapolis, MN; Dana Lenore (Oliver) Lowry, Rochester, WA; Dondra Kay Campbell, Elma, WA; and Donald Jack Campbell, Jr., Sandy. She is also survived by her big brother, Clare L. (Shirley) Bills, her Daddy's sister, Mrs. Clarence A. (Lenore) Schieman, all of Port Huron and her four grandchildren: Alyssa Nicole Campbell and David John Campbell, both of Minneapolis, and Jarrod Ashley Dumas and Jessica Lynn Dumas, both of Elma. Several nieces and nephews survive her as do their parents: Reba Peterson Silverthorn, Jean Poston, Jim and Donna Wiltshire, and Gerald and Marianne Campbell. Very close family friends who survive her are Barbara Ogger, Pat and Chet Nelson, Joanne Hay, Pete and Janie Vincent, Eugene and Genevieve Wojcik, Mary Petrossi, Margaret "Peg" Moore, Loretta Bennett, Bob and Sally Hay, Harold and Marci Buck, Verna Jennings, Heinz and Heidi Steiert, Morris and Terry Patrick, Flo and Connie Wineriter, Don and Elaine Husband, and Bob and Dolores Barr.

Memorial Services will be held at Goff Mortuary, 8090 S. State Street, Midvale, Utah, Saturday, September 20, 1997 at 2 p.m. with visitation commencing at 1 p.m. A Special Memorial Service will be held in Port Huron, Michigan at a later date.
