Fred DeWaal, age 75, passed away September 20, 1997 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
He was born March 22, 1922 in Salt Lake City, the son of William and Lena Zbinden DeWaal. He married Eileen Thelma Holbrook in the Salt Lake Temple. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He loved gardening, cooking and music. He suffered a loss of hearing in World War II, but retained his good sense of humor. Preceded in death by his wife, parents and two sisters, Lucille Westerman and Cornelia Von Neiderhauser.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 25, 1997 at 11 a.m. at the Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main where friends may call Wednesday evening from 7-9 p.m. and Thursday morning from 9:45-10:45 a.m. Interment, Bountiful City Cemetery.
