Porter Paint, a manufacturer and wholesaler of indoor and outdoor paints, based in Louisville, Ky., has opened a 13,000-square-foot branch and distribution center at 1268 S. 500 West.

Lynn Bullock, local area sales manager, said Porter Paint products are sold through 115 company stores and 800 independent dealers nationwide. A retail store accompanies the new branch, which will continue to supply Valley Paint, a Salt Lake company that has been a Porter distributor for several years.
