The dictionary doesn't list "paparazzi" among its entries. But most everyone knows what it means: Photographers who are willing to play dirty tricks or take chances to get photographs they can sell for large sums of money. In Italy, such photographers lurked to expose the secret affairs of celebrities. And Federico Fellini's 1960 movie, "La Dolce Vita," featured one such character named Paparazzo. Now those photographers are called paparazzi.
