Gayle Rostron Nelson, one of God's special children, age 56, died January 14, 1998 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
She was born November 28, 1941 to Zeldon John Rostron and Catherine Silotti Rostron in Salt Lake City, Utah. Married Richard Dean Nelson on July 21, 1961 in Salt Lake City. Gayle resided in Yorba Linda, California for 32 years, moving back to Utah in January 1997.She leaves many friends whose hearts she touched. She struggled valiantly for seven years with cancer, never complaining, only being grateful for the good life she had. She will be sorely missed.
Survived by her husband Richard; Children: Rick Nelson, Huntington Beach, CA; Greg Nelson (Susie), Lakewood, CO; Brad Nelson (Delanie), Fullerton, CA; Doug Nelson (Lori), Fullerton, CA; three grandchildren, Christopher, Megan, and Jordyn; mother Catherine Rostron; brother Bob Rostron (Judy), Honolulu, HI; sister Lois Allinder (Forrest), Salt Lake City; Sister-in-law Donna Nelson Cramer and brother-in-law Warren Cramer.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, January 17, 1998 in the Wasatch Lawn Mortuary Chapel, 3401 South Highland Drive. Family and Friends may call at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary on Friday from 6 - 8 p.m. and on Saturday from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. prior to services.
Interment, Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
