The Utah State Board of Education has revoked the teaching license of former Hurricane Middle School teacher Patricia Kent for "unprofessional conduct."

Kent taught at the school from 1981-1996. The Utah Professional Practices Advisory Commission had recommended Kent's certificate be suspended.Kent allegedly had relationships with students that were "too familiar" and inappropriately discussed religious issues with students.
