Beloved husband, dad, and grandpa, Arden Ben LeBaron, 77, of Santaquin, Utah, passed away January 6, 1998 in Provo, Utah.

Arden was born May 15, 1920 in Santaquin, a son of George W. Jr. and Lavin A. Greenhalgh LeBaron. He married his sweetheart Naomi Taylor, February 26, 1947 in the Manti LDS Temple. Arden was active in the LDS Church. He served in various positions including Stake Sunday School Superintendent, High Councilman, Bishop, and ordinance worker in the Provo Temple. He was involved in community affairs, serving as a city councilman and on the civic beautification committee. He was a US Army veteran of World War II. Arden was a rancher, cattleman and a real estate salesman. He was a hard worker. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, hunting and camping. He and his wife took great pride in their home and grounds. He attended Utah State University and was an avid BYU fan.Survivors include his wife, Naomi, of Santaquin; a son and two daughters: Dale LeBaron, Santaquin; Sharon LeBaron, Taylorsville; Susan (Lee) Cloward, Riverton; six grandsons and two grandchildren; a sister, Adele (Thays) Stanley; two brothers, Wendell (Nelda) LeBaron, and Wayne (Shirlene) LeBaron. Preceded in death by an infant son, his parents, two brothers, Merton and Norman, and a sister, Phyllis.

Funeral Services will be Saturday, January 10, at 11 a.m. in the Santaquin, Utah Stake Center, 90 South 200 East with Bishop Steven Prescott officiating. Friends may call at Holladay Hills Funeral Home, 66 South 300 East, Santaquin, Friday 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday at the Church from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment, Santaquin City Cemetery with military rites by Santaquin American Legion Post 84.
