Evelyn Pulham Frandsen, 68, passed away Tuesday, January 6, 1998 in Orem after a courageous battle with ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease).
She was born July 9, 1929 in Long Beach, California to Archibald and Essie Terry Pulham. She lived in Glendale, California until she was 13 and then the family moved to Orem. She married Glenn Ray Frandsen March 4, 1953 in the Manti Temple.Evelyn and Glenn spent 28 years in the U.S. Air Force, living in Texas, Colorado, Spokane and Moses Lake, Washington, Perris and Riverside, California, Clark AB Philippines and Shreveport, Louisiana. Evelyn enjoyed being by the ocean, making dolls, bird watching and her greatest love was being with her family. She was active in the LDS Church. Her strong testimony was apparent in the way she magnified her numerous callings.
She is survived by four children: Jan (Mark) Hornberger, Orem; Brad (Sue) Frandsen, Silverdale, WA; Kris (Jennifer) Frandsen, Farmington, UT; Jay (Lottie) Frandsen, St. George, UT; 20 grandchildren; brothers: Reese (Marylyn) Pulham; Kenneth (Dona) Pulham, Orem; and Betty (Leon) Isaacson, Springville. She was preceded in death by her children, Clark Glenn Frandsen and Vicki Frandsen; her parents; brothers, Dick (Elma) Pulham and Charles (Monty) Pulham, and sister, Faye (Don) Lunceford.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, January 10, 1998 at 11 a.m. in the Lakeridge 12th Ward Chapel, 665 South 200 West, Orem, UT. Friends may call Friday evening from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the church or Saturday morning from 9 to 10:45 a.m. also at the church. Burial will be in the Springville City Cemetery.
