Stuntman Gary Edelen, of Kennewick, Wash., twists and turns to keep flames from concentrating on any one part of his body during an attempt at the world record for the longest stunt burn in West Richland, Wash., on Sept. 26. Edelen uses a special cold gel to cool his skin while slow-burning fuel burns his outer clothing.
