The Sundance Community will celebrate its first ever Fall Festival, Oct. 10-11, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the Sundance Village. The public is invited to help celebrate the change of seasons with food, art, music and American Indian storytelling.
Well-known area chefs will give cooking demonstrations. A family barbecue is available each day at the base of the Sundance Mountain beginning at 11 a.m. Hands-on art and craft classes will be taught, and the Art Shack artists as well as local artists will display and sell their work in booths throughout the Village.Music is a big part of the festival, and musicians will perform through-out each day in the open air of Sundance Village. All concerts are free.
In addition to the performing music, American Indian storyteller and writer Robert Johnson Perry will share his collected stories of many tribes.
