Debi Gentry Loiselle
Our beloved fiancee, mother, daughter, sister and friend, Debra Lynn Gentry Cheney Loiselle, age 39, passed away October 2, 1998, in Salt Lake City.Debi was born February 19, 1959, in Salt Lake City Utah, the daughter of Leland Homer and Myrna Miller Gentry. Debi was a compassionate and loving individual and a devoted mother. A lover of animals (especially her horse, Baby) and an accomplished musician, Debi also worked as a loan officer, owned her own business and was a graduate of BCTI in Washington State. Her vibrant sense of humor uplifted all who came in contact with her. Debi championed the cause of the underdog and fought for a happy ending. Debi's independent soul and fighting spirit propelled her through life's journey with a passion for self-awareness. Debi was always trying to kick over the traces and to be free - and as she rides off to a better sphere, she leaves an empty trail. Her passing saddens our hearts and leaves a great void in our lives.
Survivors include: fiance, Christian Balliett; parents, Leland and Myrna Gentry; grandmother, Cleone Gentry; brothers, Brian (Susanne) Gentry and Steven (Marinda) Gentry; sisters, Christine (Kent) Bladen and Janae (Duke) Cassel; and many cousins, nieces and nephews, and aunts and uncles.
Candice Janae Cheney
Our sweet little Candice Janae Cheney returned to her Heavenly Father on the morning of October 2, 1998.

She attended Upland Terrace Elementary, where she was a straight-A student with a perfect attendance record. Candice began the 6th grade at Lincoln Elementary in Fall of 1998. A quick learner, Candice picked up the piano, flute, ballet and soccer with ease. Candice's tender heart blessed the lives of those she loved and the animals she cared for. She had a special love for her horse, Honesty. Candice's spunky disposition and melodious laugh captured our hearts forever. Candice was a pure and lovable spirit whose passing saddens our hearts. Our little ray of sunlight is now shining amidst the heavens. We love you and will miss you deeply.
