Robert Gary and Peggy Gene Riding Zufelt, died Saturday October 3, 1998, from injuries sustained in an auto accident.
They were married November 8, 1963 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Their sons and daughters are: Robert Eric (Anita) Zufelt, Beaver; Tammy (Scott) Thomas, Oak City; Travis Gary Zufelt, Mesa, Arizona; Sheri (Neil) Farnsworth, Logan; 15 grandchildren.Gary, age 58, passed away in Provo. Born September 21, 1940 in Durango, Colorado, to Robert LeLand and Dagmar Marie Slade Zufelt. Active member LDS Church serving in many positions. Mission in West Central States. Always a missionary and faithful home teacher. Talented at creating with wood and was busy building Christmas gifts for grandchildren at time of death. Greatest love was family, especially grandchildren. Also survived by parents, Hesperus, Colorado; two brothers; one sister.
Peggy, age 54, passed away in Oak City. Born October 23, 1943 in Delta, to Thomas J. and Velda Hamblin Riding. Granger High School graduate. Active member LDS Church serving in many positions. Loved family, and grandchildren enjoyed time with Grandma. Also survived by mother, Oak City; four brothers: one sister.
Funeral services Wednesday Oct 7, 1998, 11 a.m., Oak City Ward. Friends call at Nickle Mortuary Tues 7-8 p.m. and at Church Weds.
10-10:45 a.m. Burial Oak City Cemetery.
