Protests and riots in Jakarta prompted another international singer to cancel a concert in the Indonesian capital.
Puerto Rican pop singer Ricky Martin canceled a charity concert scheduled for Tuesday, The Jakarta Post reported Friday. Promoter Adrie Su-bo-no said it would be insensitive for Martin to do the show at this time.Martin, 26, is best known for his '98 World Cup theme song, "The Cup of Life," which became a hit in Spanish, English and French.
Spanish singer Julio Iglesias called off a Jakarta concert last week.
