Virginia Bennett Blaney, 71, died November 23, 1998 in Orem Utah.
Born November 8, 1927 in Alpine, Utah to Silas Blaine and Alberta Adams Bennett. Married Allan Evans Blaney, February 22, 1947 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Allan died March 3, 1986. She attended school in Alpine, American Fork, and vocational school in Provo. She was a member of Alpine 1st Ward and enjoyed working with the Cub and Boy Scouts with her husband, Allan. She served in the Primary, Relief Society, Sunday School and with the Single Adults. She helped organize activities with The "Old Folks" Committee in the Alpine area. She loved to work in her yard and flower garden. She loved to travel with family and friends. She loved her many nieces and nephews and they loved her very much.She is survived by three sons and one daughter, Forrest Allan Blaney (Suzanne), Dallas Texas; Raymond "Ray" E. Blaney (Jan), Tabiona, Utah; Michael "Alfy" Alfred Blaney (Judy), Lehi; Jody Blaney Vance, Alpine; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two brothers and one sister, Ralph Bennett, Safford, Arizona; Paul Bennett, Alpine; Irene Edwards, Midway, Utah.
Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m., Friday at the Mountainville Chapel, 165 North 100 East, Alpine. Burial in Alpine City Cemetery. Friends may call from 9-10:45 a.m. on Friday at the Church. Directed by Anderson & Sons Mortuary.
