Earlene Stubbs Jensen, 56 of Provo, Utah, passed away in her home November 22, 1998 from cancer.
She was born April 28th 1942. The daughter of Joseph Earl and LaRue Smith Stubbs. Earlene was raised in Provo and received her education in Provo City Schools, graduating from Provo High in 1960. She married Paul E. Jensen on October 4, 1962 in the Manti LDS Temple. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, serving in various leadership positions on both ward and stake levels. She was and still is a great teacher of compassion and charity. Her greatest accomplishments were her nine children.Survivors include: her husband, Paul E. Jensen of Provo and nine children, Jeannie (Trent) Fratto of West Jordan; Richard (Patti) Jensen of American Fork; Robert (Mandy) Jensen of Genola; Ronald (Michelle) Jensen of Payson; Janette (Peter) Hewett of Provo; Ryan (Sandi) Jensen of Provo; Rex (Kerrin) Jensen of Provo; Rodney and JuliAnne of Provo. One brother E. Leon (Bonnie) Stubbs.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, November 28th 1998 11 a.m. at the Sunset 3rd Ward Chapel, 1020 South 1100 West Provo. Friends may call Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Berg Mortuary, 185 East Center, Provo, and Saturday at the church one hour prior to services. Interment, Provo City Cemetery 610 South State.
