Beulah Jamison Newman, age 88, died November 1, 1998 in Orem, Utah.

Born September 25, 1910 in Lewiston, Utah, daughter of Lewis Bowen and Mary Eva Crenshaw Jamison. Married David Hirst Newman September 18, 1929 in the Salt Lake Temple; he preceded her in death April 4, 1993. She was a seminary teacher and held many positions in the LDS Church. She worked side by side with her husband at their Arctic Circle in Murray, Utah.Survived by daughters, Joan Klinger, Murray; Patsy (Dick) Winger, West Valley City; Suzi (Stanley) Macdonald, Provo; Barbara (Jerry) LeDuc, Ogden; 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be held Friday, 12 noon at the Winder 8th Ward, 1361 East 4000 South. Friends and family may call Thursday, 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Friday at the church, 11:00-11:45 a.m. Interment, Elysian Burial Gardens.
